Kinsley Completes Adaptive Reuse Senior Housing Project In Lebanon

York, PA – A ribbon cutting ceremony held on October 10, 2016 celebrated the opening of Kreider Commons, a six-story affordable senior living community with 50 rental apartments.  The Wyomissing, Pennsylvania office of Kinsley Construction, Inc. delivered this adaptive reuse project which converted the former A.S. Kreider Shoe Company building into one- and two-bedroom apartments. Construction began in May of 2015.

Ohio-based Woda Group is the property developer and managerMarks Thomas / Kreider Commons. Marks, Thomas Architects of Baltimore, Maryland, was the project designer.  Joining them in the ribbon cutting were Lebanon’s Mayor Sherry Capello as well as several county, state and PHFA representatives.

Kinsley Construction is a family owned business headquartered in York, Pennsylvania with offices in Reading, Pennsylvania; Baltimore, Maryland; and Herndon, Virginia. Kinsley delivers solutions through preconstruction, construction management, general contracting and design-build services for clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
