Kinsley Wins Construction Management for Landmark Yorktowne Hotel Project

York, PA – York-based Kinsley Construction was hired by the York County Industrial Development Authority (YCDIA) to provide preconstruction and construction services for The Yorktowne Hotel renovation project in downtown York.

After an extensive review process of qualified local and regional firms, the YCIDA selected Kinsley as the winning bidder. The contract with the construction manager was announced and voted upon at the Tuesday, April 4th YCIDA board meeting. As construction manager, Kinsley will provide cost estimates during the design phase of the project and will be responsible for securing and scheduling more than 20 different contractors as construction begins this year.

Collaborating with YCDIA and design and engineering firms Nutec Group, BHC Architects and JDB Engineering, Kinsley will deliver estimating, scheduling and construction management for the phased renovation of the iconic, 11-story hotel, built in 1925.
