Kinsley got its start in 1963 as a small concrete subcontractor. Today, Kinsley owns and operates three concrete plants as well as a quarry, and provides aggregate, concrete and K-Rock blocks to over 3,000 construction projects each year. This is made possible only by the work of our highly-skilled teams working within our three plants located in Central Pennsylvania.
For concrete and aggregate orders, the team enters each into an order log and tracks the day, time and quantity needed. For concrete orders, they also determine which concrete plant the order will come out of – PenRoc, Loucks Mill Road or Wrightsville.
Our dispatch team creates a daily schedule with information about what orders should to be fulfilled and delivered each day. Our aggregate is delivered utilizing our fleet of 48 tri-axle dump trucks, while our concrete is delivered utilizing our 48 front discharge mixer trucks.
Our PenRoc quarry and concrete plant in York produces roughly one million tons of crushed aggregate and ships anywhere from 20,000 to 50,000 yards of concrete per year. Our Loucks Mill Road plant in York ships between 120,000 to 150,000 yards of concrete and produces 3,000 to 8,000 K-Rock concrete blocks per year. Lastly, our newest concrete plant in Wrightsville has the capability to ship 20,000 to 50,000 yards of concrete in a year.
With these locations and over a million tons of products available, our Materials division is equipped to provide materials for projects throughout Southern, Central and Eastern Pennsylvania as well as Northern Maryland and Delaware.
