Project Scope

Kinsley Construction developed 80 acres over multiple phases for a planned 357-unit townhome community. The project included all earthwork, utilities, stormwater management, sanitary sewer, water, paving, asphalt and landscaping. In addition, the remediation of arsenic-impacted soils was part of the earthwork scope.

Phase 1:

We performed 120,000 cubic yards of earthwork, rock blasting, construction of a large retaining wall, paving, concrete work and right-of-way improvements. We installed 6,400 feet of sewer pipe, 6,300 feet of storm drain pipe and 5,600 feet of water pipe.

Phase 2:

We developed 30 acres for more townhomes by implementing erosion and sediment controls, clearing and grubbing, bulk grading, installing sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water infrastructure, and completing curb and base paving.

Phase 3:

We developed 58 acres for 138 townhomes including installing erosion and sediment controls, clearing, mass grading approximately 50,000 cubic yards of cut/fill and stripping 9,000 cubic yards of topsoil. Our scope also included installing all of the sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water line, curb and gutter, and paving.
