Kinsley’s team performed the rehabilitation and preservation of an existing four-span bridge that carries Pittston Avenue traffic over railroad lines and Mill Creek. The bridge features a historical 200-foot Baltimore Pratt steel truss span. Our work included:
- Jacking up the truss superstructure using 600-ton jacks
- Repairing and rehabilitating bearings and steel members
- Replacing concrete pedestals and expansion joints
- Repairing deteriorated concrete on abutment stems, wings, diaphragms, pier caps, pier columns, and beams
- Placing rock at the abutments
- Full-depth pavement replacement
- Cleaning, painting, waterproofing, and other rehabilitation work
