The Kreider Commons project involved the transformation of the six-story landmark, A.S. Kreider Shoe Company, into 50 one- and two-bedroom senior living apartments.
Features of the facility include: two elevators, individual unit HVAC and hot water, extra-large windows, carpet and tile floors, all new kitchens, appliances, and bathrooms.
On-site amenities include: parking, community room with kitchen, laundry facilities on each level, library, lounge, computer room, grandchild room, exercise room, arts and crafts room, and secure separated tenant storage.
The project achieved LEED Platinum Certification.
