Kinsley built the Nixon Park Nature Center classroom addition, to provide a setting for educational programs that is more integrated with the park environment.
Our work was carefully executed to protect the on-site wetlands and included:

• Concrete slab on piers foundation
• Architecturally exposed timber frame and hardware construction
• Metal roof
• Tying in the new classroom to the existing building with a doorway between
• Erosion control
• Storm water management retention pond with biofilters
• Rerouting gutters and downspouts to the new retention pond
