Kinsley’s addition to the OSS Orthopaedic Hospital provided:

• Four operating rooms
• Post- and pre-operation areas
• 35 patient rooms
• A cafeteria
• Administrative spaces

The biggest challenge was meeting the accelerated completion schedule after the original schedule of 16 months was reduced to 12 months in order to meet the requirements of the Healthcare Reform Act, which was enacted as the project was in progress.  Thanks to our subcontractor relationships and our control over the self-performed site work, concrete and steel, we successfully completed the project with the accelerated timeline.  We also self-performed the rough carpentry, and miscellaneous specialty and owner equipment installations.
