The owners of this house, built by Kinsley in the early 1990s, contracted us to transform it into a lodge-style home with updates throughout.

Our renovation work included:

• Reconfiguring the kitchen and creating a new dining area with an outdoor dining deck
• Renovating a bedroom and three bathrooms
• Providing a new laundry room
• Creating a three-story open foyer with a timber-frame finish
• Building a slide from the first floor to the basement
• Removing interior walls and installing the necessary bearing support
• Installing steel stairs, railings and wood treads
• Building a bridge leading to the front door
• Replacing and re-framing the roof, including installation of dormers and new roof lines
