Kinsley constructed a one-story addition to create 257 additional parking spaces at QIAGEN’s existing two-level garage. The three-level structure now provides a total of 738 parking spaces for employees. The client wanted to maintain an open-feel in the garage and minimize structural posts throughout the space. To accomplish this, the structural system is post-tension concrete on structural steel, which is unique for a parking structure.

Our construction team ensured the uninterrupted flow of deliveries to the client’s facility by building a crane road parallel to the main access road, coordinating our lifts around regularly scheduled deliveries, and remaining flexible and prepared to accommodate all other road traffic.
