SR441 Conoy Township Bridge Replacement

Project Info

Kinsley replaced the Route 441 bridge over Conoy Creek in northwestern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We used Ultra-High Performance Concrete to connect the precast deck panels and accelerate construction. Removal of the existing bridge began in April 2021 with mandatory final completion of the bridge 120 days later.

The project included:

  • Replacing the existing superstructure using precast deck panels
  • Repairing¬† the abutments and top portions of the piers
  • Installing expansion joints and latex modified deck overlay
  • Installing new approach slabs, moment slabs, guide rail, and minor drainage improvements
  • Updating signage and pavement markings
