Yorkana Fire Company Station Renovations

Project Info

Kinsley provided renovations to the Yorkana Volunteer Fire Company station to accommodate fire trucks, equipment and fire protection services. The project included:

  • Demolition of existing dock door openings to create openings for new, larger 12-foot x 14-foot overhead bay doors
  • Removal of the existing power lift garage doors
  • Installation of new structural columns to support the new bay doors
  • Construction of a new 3,150-sq-ft reinforced-concrete truck entrance ramp
  • Removal of existing asphalt at the site of the new truck ramp
  • Creation of an 85-sq-ft, ADA-compliant, single-occupant women’s restroom
  • Installation of an interior wall between the truck storage area and the future reception hall area
