Primarily serving the manufacturing industry, our team focuses on three critical areas: machine foundations, machine rigging and assembly, and heavy industrial metal fabrication. By offering end-to-end solutions tailored to each facility’s unique needs, we play a vital role in maintaining productivity and supporting the success of these essential industries.
Machine Foundations
Whether it’s installing foundations in a quarry for crushing equipment or placing thickened equipment pads in an existing facility, Kinsley Construction’s Industrial team can do it all. With our experienced carpentry and concrete crews, our team excels at concrete pours of any depth and size.
Our preconstruction team brings the expertise to coordinate subsurface investigations and foundation design, addressing any site challenges. Our construction team is highly experienced with deep foundations; caissons, piles and micro-piles; excavation and shoring; underpinning; detailed formwork; fabricating and setting embed steel; mass concrete pours; and machine base grouting.
Rigging & Assembly
One of the most critical aspects of manufacturing projects is the efficient transportation and installation of heavy equipment. With machinery ranging in size from precision lightweight pieces to much larger installations in excess of 100 tons, this task demands specialized expertise and equipment.
Our Industrial Division employs experienced, certified professionals to operate specialized tractors, trailers, forklifts and hydraulic truck cranes. This enables us to seamlessly move machinery within a client’s facility or throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Additionally, our crews possess extensive experience in mechanical assembly and understand the complexities of process piping within manufacturing environments. These systems must be meticulously designed, fabricated, installed and maintained to ensure optimal efficiency and safety. Backed by a team of certified welders and fitters, this division is capable of working with a variety of piping materials, including stainless steel, ductile iron, PVC, black steel and HDPE piping.
Heavy Industrial Metal Fabrication
For over 30 years, Kinsley’s Industrial fabrication shop has been crafting a wide array of steel products for our clients. From simple handrails to complex plate weldments and heavy steel trusses, our diverse team of designers, welders and fabricators handles it all. Our fab shop team excels at every stage of the process, from initial estimates and design to fabrication, painting and final shipment.
Unlike automated shops, our team specializes in custom design and fabrication, tailoring steel products to meet the unique needs of each customer. Equipped with tools like brakes, shears, plate burn tables and saws, we are capable of working with a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, abrasion-resistant steel and Hastelloy.
