Ground has officially been broken in Columbia, Maryland!
Kinsley Construction is partnering with Saval Foodservice and Howard Hughes Communities™ to deliver a new 230,000-square-foot headquarters and distribution center.
Developed as a build-to-suit facility, the project will expand Saval’s distribution capabilities while providing additional capacity for storage, processing and order fulfillment. Kinsley Construction is serving as construction manager. The project team also includes Paragon Engineering Services, Providence Engineering and Warehaus.
Project features include:
- Freezer, cooler, produce, meat and steak storage areas
- Processing, packing and dry storage spaces
- A 35-door loading dock
- A two-story warehouse office area
- Multiple temperature-controlled zones ranging from -10°F to 45°F, along with ambient storage areas
- Fully insulated interior partition walls to maintain separate temperature environments
