After 13+ years with Kinsley Construction, we’re celebrating the retirement of Carol True!
Carol joined Kinsley Construction in 2013 and has been a key part of the team as our training facilitator. In her role, she kept training schedules on track, handled records and payroll details, and made sure certifications didn’t slip through the cracks.
But if you ask Carol what she’ll remember most, it’s not the paperwork, it’s the people. She often says the relationships she built here are what made Kinsley Construction so special, and that’s what she’ll miss most. Carol came to Kinsley Construction after hearing about the company from a friend and later spotting an opening online. She’s always appreciated how Kinsley Construction treats its people, and she’s said many times she was never just a number here. Support was always just a conversation away.
One of her favorite parts of the job has been watching employees grow and succeed, especially those just starting out after high school or college and seeing their progress over time. She also shared how meaningful it was to start here at 56 years old and be welcomed, valued and given a chance to keep building her career. Her advice has always been simple: work hard, bring a good attitude and there’s a future here for you.
As she enters retirement, Carol is looking forward to spending more time with her husband, grandchildren, family and friends, visiting her brother in Clearwater, FL and enjoying plenty of good books along the way.
